Carol Mader

John and I feel very thankful that our participation in Christian music was in a huge part because of one extraordinary gifted Godly woman; Carol Mader.    

Carol was the music ministry director at our church in the late 1980’s and early 1990s.  Pure class, a contagious sense of humor and genuine love was her nature and so much faith to move any mountain.   

When Carol died from cancer, it knocked the wind out of us all.  One of the songs she wrote during her cancer journey, is called “Standing on the Word of “God”.  She said that God gave her that song as a special encouragement.  I believe He gave it to us too.
