You may be curious at the naming of our site. Read on!
I bet if I were to say to those born after 1952; Singing in the rain, you would smile. And the famous dancing and singing in the rain scene would play in your mind from that G rated classic movie.
The former kid’s choir and drama team director in me has changed the words to Singing in the rain and has a whole choreographed number done in my head, every time I see and hear it! I have even gone so far as to give the Gene Kelly part to an incredibly talented, musical savvy nursing student I love.
We need more G rated moments in our lives. Ones that are creative, inspiring and anointed. We also need more God moments in our lives. Ones that are full of His creative gifts, Holy Spirit inspired and flooded with the saving grace of Christ Jesus.
That is why Singing in the Reign was created. So, come in from the rain friend. Come under the Reign of God and be restored. He sings over you, you know. Check out Zephaniah.
Zephaniah 3:16-18
Living Bible 16 On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, “Cheer up, don’t be afraid. 17-18 For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will give you victory. He will rejoice over you with great gladness; he will love you and not accuse you.” Is that a joyous choir I hear? No, it is the Lord himself exulting over you in happy song.
And just in case you’re wondering what the lyrics would be to “Singing in the Reign”….
I’m singin’ in His reign
Just praisin’ in His reign,
What a glorious feeling
I’m victorious again!
I’m laughing at the clouds
So dark up above,
The Son’s in my heart
And I know I’m loved.

Just singin’, singin’ in His reign.
We hope you stop by often and will be encouraged to “hold fast” as we are instructed in the Word to do. Who doesn’t need some Holy Spirit inspired cheerleaders some days?
